West Mifflin recreation youth softball participates in the Chartiers Valley Communities Softball League for 8U (beginning in Spring 2025), 10U, 12U and 15U. 

6U teams play a modified game where everyone bats, runs the bases and plays the field each inning. After a few coach pitches, players are encouraged to use a batting tee to put the ball in play.
